Mrs. Annie D. Prytherch, 82, Sedwick Park, New Hartford, died Sept 6. 1951, in a local hospital after a long illness. She was born in Liverpool, England, on Jan 8., 1869, a daughter of the late Daniel and Jane Roberts Davies and came to this country and New York City in her childhood. She came to Utica 73 years ago. She taught in the Utica school system for many years.
Mrs. Prytherch was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and its home department. She was married here to William C. Prytherch, Nov 18, 1896. Mr. Prytherch, who was the owner of the Acme Coal Company, died in 1932.
Mrs. Prytherch leaves, one daughter, Mrs. George C. Ackler, New Hartford; three grandchildren, Mrs. C. Russell Mills, Cordele, Ga.; Edward and William Richardson, Atlanta, Ga.; six great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frances Richardson, Atlanta.
The funeral will be at 11 a. m — Saturday from the Surridge and Roberts Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. Bernard Corneliussen officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
