Miss Myrtle Acker, of Buck's Valley, a Harrisburg school teacher, died Thursday, June 27, in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital at Philadelphia, as the result of injuries sustained in an auto accident on the West Shore four years ago. She was 40 years old. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Emma Acker, she is survived by three brothers.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, July 1. Burial was in Newport cemetery.
