Clara Peterson was the daughter of Ellef and Brita Peterson, pioneers in Fillmore County. Clara loved her church and its mission and was a member and regular attendant of Bethlehem church until she grew ill and unable to attend. She married Olaf Norby 15 Jul 1914 in Highland. They had one son, Elmer, who died at birth. Clara was an invalid for more than 20 years, tenderly cared for by her husband, Olaf.
