Mrs. Edith May Dixon died Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at her home in Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Roberts-Blue Funeral home. Rev. Lloyd Cressman, pastor of the First Friends church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Cottonwood cemetery.
Mrs. Dixon was born March 26, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua F. Kemp, who lived in the Rinker neighborhood. She was married to James Anderson Dixon in Emporia, December 5, 1894. Mr. Dixon died April 13, 1938. Mrs. Dixon was a birthright member of the Friends church, was a past oracle of the Royal Neighbors of America and a member of the Emporia Grange. She is survived by three sons, Miles M. Dixon and Joseph S. Dixon, of the home and Taylor N. Dixon of Saffordville; a daughter, Ruth E. Dixon, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Louis E. Jones, Hugoton and Miss Della A. Kemp, Emporia.
