Mr. John Keats, the poet's nephew, and the only one of his relatives who bears his name, is a civil engineer in Missouri. He is an elderly bachelor, and the name of Keats will probably die with him. His mother, the sprightly widow of George Keats, and later the wife of Mr. John Jeffrey, of Lexington, Ky., died in that city last week.
