Buried with brother Otis. See them under #130 on page 110 in Lucy Abigail Brainard's genealogy for William (Daniel Brainerd's 4th son). The following is from Lucy's genealogy.

"He enlisted as a private in the 5th Vt Regt, Co. D, and died of fever in a field hospital on the battlefield of Antietam, Sep 29, 1862. His body was brought back to his home for burial at St Albans, Vt, Jan 2, 1863"
