Laura Cackler was born at Chariton, Iowa on June 17, 1857, and departed this life June 27, 1943, at the age of 87 years, 10 days. She was united in marriage to Charles R. Roberts at the age of 17. To this union was born 10 children - four of whom preceded her in death. Mr. Roberts died Feb. 19, 1924.
She accepted her savior in early life and was a faithful and loving mother. She will be missed in her home and by all who knew her.
She leaves six children, Ward L. Roberts, northwest of Blackwell; John L. of Troutdale, Ore.; Walter C. of Chaflin, Kans; Pete of Blackwell; Mrs. George James of Fairfax, and Mrs. Joe Murry of Gage. Also, 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
