REYNOLDS, Frennie W. age 91, of Butler Twp., passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his residence. He was retired member of the Carpenters Local #104 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, proudly serving on the U.S.S. Massachusetts. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Josephine; 1 son, James C. Reynolds, brother, Ervel Reynolds; 4 sisters, Clara Dawson, Edith Roberts, Merle Wright, & Zelda Bertrand, Frennie is survived by 2 sons; 1 daughter; a daughter-in-law; 1 brother, a special sister-in-law; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; special friends, Leroy & Liz, the Messer Family; his extended family, Kathy & Lynda, Becky & Jeff. Funeral services for Frennie will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 16, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Perry Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:30 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vandalia Senior Citizens Center in Frennie's memory. The family would like to offer their special thanks to Brenda at Americare and also to the staff at the Fresinius Dialysis Care Center for their loving care of Frennie over the past two years.
