Mary was born on the 19th of May, 1915 in Joseph, Utah. She was the daughter of Joseph William Parker and Olina Matilda Olsen. She married Lloyd Grant Frandsen on the 7th of September, 1951.
Mary was a member of the LDS Church and was active in scouting and other youth programs. She spent much of her time helping and teaching underprivileged and learning disabled children. She spent countless hours teaching children the skills of reading, writing, basic math and social skills. Her home was always open to those who were in need emotionally, financially or spiritually. She also enjoyed very much doing needlepoint and earned blue ribbon awards at the state fair for her work.
