Jeanne was born January 20, 1933 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Orson and Norma Allan Millet, the second child and oldest daughter in a loving family of seven children. She passed away from cancer July 27, 2001 in Elk Ridge, UT.

She was raised and educated in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School in 1951. She married Bob Schneiter March 23, 1951; later divorced. She found the love of her life, Henry Adovnik, and they were married Sept 1, 1989 and sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden LDS Temple April 29, 1994.

She is survived by a wonderful family, who treasure her profound influence in their lives. Her partner, Henry; children, Jan (Mike) Crane, Manti, UT, Wane (Nancy) Schneiter, Lexington, VA, Mark (Judie) Schneiter, Anchorage, AK, Kevin Schneiter, Shelley White, both of Ogden, UT, Joanie (James) Rich, American Fork, UT; brothers and sisters, Leon (Velma) Millet, Provo, UT, Shirley (Wayne) Stevenson, St. George, UT, Marilyn (Gary) Tang, Salt Lake City, UT, Chuck (Pat) Millet, Eden, UT, Rena (Duane) Snow, Charlottesville, VA, Chris (Gary) Kirschbaum, American Fork, UT. Her posterity includes 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, each one precious and dear to her. She also dearly loved Henry's children, Kelly (Shelly), Terry (Cindy), Scotty (Glorine) Adovnik, and grandchildren.

Jeanne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished the gospel and the blessings it brought into her life. She was always happy to serve in the church and had special associations wherever she was called, especially the Lorin Farr 21st Ward Primary and the Burch Creek 74th Ward Young Women.

She lived her life in Ogden, Salt Lake, and Elk Ridge, UT, and Rock Springs, WY. She had friends near and far and counted them among her greatest blessings.

She worked with her sister, Marilyn and Gary Tang for many years at Certified Interior Systems in Salt Lake City. She and Henry built six houses together and she enjoyed working alongside him. She was a member and past president of Soroptimist International and always took the opportunity to make the world a better place. Her hobbies included traveling, cooking, reading, sewing, gardening, and playing games.

Jeanne has a truly great spirit and we know there is a happy reunion in heaven with her parents and loved ones and that she will be watching over us until we meet again.
