Arsenio was a member of Our Lady of Belén Catholic Church, Belén, NM.
Arsenio served in the United States Navy during World War II, in the Helicopter Anti-Submarine squadron two (HS-2). Arsenio was a well known area contractor for many years. Arsenio served as the Valencia County and City of Belén building inspector for several years. Arsenio acted as a volunteer superintendent on many of the local Catholic Church projects. Even though he was self taught in the construction industry he went on to receive his New Mexico Contractors license. Arsenio took great pride in his profession and was known by all to be a perfectionist.
Arsenio was preceded in death by his parents, Avelina García and Remijio Baldonado and brothers, Secondino Baldonado and David Baldonado.
Arsenio is survived by his five loving children, Marytherese Jingle and her husband, Curtis, Mona Lisa Montaño and her husband, Ray, Arsenio A. Baldonado and his wife, Julie Kay, Patricia Baldonado and Kathryn Baldonado, 12 grandchildren, Arsenio "PK" Baldonado, Gabriel Baldonado, Angela Atwood, Anthony Baldonado, Secondino Baldonado, Matthew Jingle, Clarice Trujillo, Christopher Trujillo, Jacob Montaño, Andrew Montaño, Isaac Montaño and David Montaño, five great-grandchildren, his 12 loving brothers and sisters, Reina Pino and her husband, Narciso, Ruperto Baldonado and his wife, Flora, Arturo Baldonado and his wife, Louisa, José Baldonado and his wife, Renee, Roseanne Córdova, Erlinda García, Tony Baldonado, Lupe Baldonado and his wife, Florida, Mike Baldonado and his wife, Adela, Sylvia García, Marty Baldonado and his wife, Sherri and Felix Baldonado and his wife, Cheryl, one loving sister-in-law, Grace Baldonado and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Jarales, NM on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM, on Thursday, October 11, 2007. Pallbearers will be his brothers, Mike Baldonado, Arturo Baldonado, Tony Baldonado and José Baldonado, two grandsons, Christopher Trujillo and Matthew Jingle, nephew, Michael Dean Baldonado and family friend, Patrick Jaramillo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Chávez and Virgie Chávez.
