Mike was a resident of Los Chávez, NM for 58 years.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Adela, of 58 years. Their surviving children are Barbara Michael and Mario Baldonado (Jennifer.) Mike also leaves behind seven grandchildren who he loved dearly, Samantha, Angelica, Joseph, Matthew, Dyea (Tanner), Lorena (Tim), Faith and Korin, as well as three great-grandchildren Keanu, Jaxton and Beau, brothers, Ruperto (Flora), Arturo (Louisa), George Martin "Marty" (Emily) and Felix Baldonado (Cheryl), sisters, Rosanna Córdova and Sylvia García, sisters-in-law, Martha Girón, Kathleen Gallegos, Dolores Gabaldón and Roberta Griego (Michael) and brother-in-law, Gene Gabaldón (Marystella).
Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Secundina "Dina" Baldonado, parents, Remigio and Avelina Baldonado, father and mother-in-law, Abelino and Josephine Gabaldón, brother-in-law, Denny Gallegos, brothers, Secundino, Preciliano, Arsenio, José Eliasim, Antonio "Tony" David and Guadalupe Baldonado, sisters, Reina Baldonado Pino, Mary Helen Baldonado and recently Erlinda Baldonado García.
Mike was born in Jarales, NM. Mike was the 13th child of 17 children. Mike was blessed with an abundance of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Mike Baldonado was a kind and generous man who touched the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed.
Services will take place on September 9, 2023, at Our Lady of Belén Catholic Church, Belén, NM. Public Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., and Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., followed by Interment at Our Lady of Belén Memorial Gardens, Belén, NM. Pallbearers will be Matthew Skoog, Joseph Michael, Michael Layton, Mythias Layton, Lazarus Layton, Charles Girón and Gilbert Pino. Honorary Pallbearers are Keanu Arvizu and Marco García.
