William Henry Cousins was the son of Henry and Margaret Cousins. He married Martha Robinson, daughter of Reverend Peter and Nancy (Thompson) Robinson of Nottoway County, Virginia. Captain William Henry Cousins served in the VA Militia during the War of 1812. William Henry and Martha (Robinson) Cousins had the following children:
1. Margaret A. Cousins, married unknown Muir.
2. William E. Counsins, Physician, served as physician in Confederacy.
3. Mary E. Cousins, married unknown Thompson.
4. Caroline F. J. Cousins, married unknown Muir.
5. Peters Robinson Cousins, moved to Tennessee before 1860.
6. John W. Cousins, nothing further.
7. Henry Cousins, later Sheriff of Dinwiddie County, Virginia, married Jane Inglis Boisseau.
8. Martha E. Cousins, married Judge Jimmy Boisseau of Dinwiddie County, VA, and lived at "Cedar Lane" where they are both buried.
9. Algernon S. Cousins, physician, graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Served as physician in the Civil War.
10. Emma Rosa Cousins, nothing further.
