Mrs. L. A. Seidl, 64, of 829 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mittnacht Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. L. M.
Schorn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Rose Delsman was born Nov. 2, 1888, in the town of Kossuth and was
married in 1907 to Ludwig Seidl at Francis Creek. He died in 1949. The couple
moved to Manitowoc following the marriage.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sewell Woolman of Fond du Lac; five sons,
Alfred of Lincoln, Neb., Elmer and Lester of Manitowoc, Ludwig Jr., of Toledo,
Ohio, and William of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Bruno Delsman of Hartland,
Wis., and Theodore Delsman of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Spengeman of
San Franciso, Calif, Mrs. John Prsha and Mrs. Fred Phair of Los Angeles, Calif.,
and Mrs. George Wilfert of Two Rivers; and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Veterans of
Foreign Wars Auxiliary will conduct special rites at 7 p.m. Sunday and the Altar
Society will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
