Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" (Goldsby) Byrd, b 1866, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory/OK, d 1909, Ada, OK, was the wife of Benjamin Franklin Byrd, of Chickasaw Heritage, b17 Jan 1849, Doaksville, Towson Co., Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory/OK, d. 23 Nov 1915.

They were wed on 9 Mar 1890, many years later after Mr. Byrd's first wife, Nannie (Wilson) Byrd, died in 1872, shortly after giving birth to a daughter, Nannie (Byrd) Wasson.

The son of Mamie and Benjamin, Carl Elwin Byrd, married Miss Dorothy Yoakum, also of Chickasaw Heritage via her paternal grandmother, Frances Delilah "Fannie" (Moore) Yoakum.
