"The death of Mrs. Amelia Judson widow of the late David H. Judson, occurred Saturday night at 7:30 o'clock at her home in Roseboom following several years of ill health, the last five months having been mostly confined to her bed. She was given, for the last several years of her life, the devoted care of her daughter, Mrs. Harding who resided in the home, caring alike for both of her parents until the death of her father which occurred November 5th, 1929. Mrs. Judson was born October 8, 1848 in Springfield, the daughter of John Foster and Betsey (Cooper) Foster. She was united in marriage with David H. Judson, December 24, 1868. Four children were born of this union, the death of the eldest son, Harry occurring August 18, 1905. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Ethel Harding referred to, and Curtis Judson of Canajoharie, and Sidney Judson of Houston, Texas. The latter having made many trips home to visit his parents and add to their comfort in every way possible, making the trip by airplane in order to be present at his mother's funeral. Mrs. Judson was a life long resident of Otsego county and for the past thirty-five years, a resident of Roseboom ... The interment was in the family plot in the village cemetery beside her husband."
