Mrs. Sampson, 87, Claimed by Death
Hansen-Mrs. Frances E. Sampson, 87, died at her home on route 1, Hansen, at 1:40 p.m. after a brief illness.
She was born April 14, 1873, in Villisca, Iowa, and was married there to Otis Sampson April 2 1903. In 1908 they came to Hansen from Iowa.
Mrs. Sampson was a member of the Hansen Community Methodist church, the Woman's Society of Christian Service, Hansen Grange and the WCTU. She was preceded in death by her husband February 3, 1950, and by nine brothers and sisters.
Several nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Reynolds chapel with the Rev. John Cross and the Rev. John Sims, Hansen and Kimberly Methodist pastors, officiating. Concluding services will be held at Twin Falls cemetery. Friends may call at Reynolds chapel from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
