Eleazer (Eleazur)was one of seventeen children born to William D. Rosebrook and Lydia Jane Dodge. He married Harriet (Harriett) Guptill (Gubtill) November 8, 1810.

Quote from "Historical Researches of Gouldsboro, Maine"..published 1904-DAR and again by the Gouldsboro Historical Society-1984 on page 56-"Eleazer Rosebrook, of Guildhall, Vermont was one of General Cobb's farm hands, aiding the General to turn stones into bread. He married Harriet, a daughter of Nahum Guptill and bought a portion of the "Marsh" of General Cobb. Some years later his daughter Eliza, one of eleven children, served the General as a housemaid, receiving fifty cents in Winter and four shillings in Summer."

They actually had 13 Children. 2 sets of Twins. (1 twin that died very young**and I have been unable to find burial information) They are as follows:

Nahum C. Rosebrook; 1821-1823 and another brother, Ebenezer C. Rosebrook (Twin to Henry C. Rosebrook); 1832-1833, as listed above are surely buried in this cemetery. The family was living in Gouldsboro when these children were born and died. To date I have no documents proving they are buried here.

Ebenezer Cobb "Eben" and his Wife Sarah Jane Spurling and some of their family are buried in the "Preble Cemetery" on the Great Cranberry Island, Maine.
