Funeral services for Robert Joseph "Bob" Lee, 82, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Columbia Heights Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce McGee and Bro. Warren Maxwell officiating.
Interment will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia.
Bob was born September 9, 1929 to Hilton and Elizabeth Lee in Monroe and he passed from this life on August 9, 2012 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.
He retired as President and CEO of Caldwell Bank in Columbia. He was a charter member and Deacon of Columbia Heights Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. He loved to hunt and he loved his squirrel dogs.
He was preceded in death by his daughter: Pam Lee; his parents; brother: John H. Lee; three sisters: Marteal Lewellyan, Clara Lale, and Mable Manly [sic Manley]; nephew: Ezzie Lewellyan; great-nephew: Greg Lewellyan.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Janice Lee; brother: H.L. Lee; sister: Voncille Marrs; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Glen Lee, Todd Long, Toby Long, Tim Long, Steve Sims, and Leon Scott.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Judge Ronnie Lewellyan, Dan Manly [sic Manley], and the Board of Directors of Caldwell Bank.
