Jessie Elizabeth McClure was the daughter of George Orthy and Emma Jane (Groninger) McClure. She was born February 19, 1912 and died April 19, 1999. She graduated from Port Royal High School in the Class of 1930. She was married to Lee Verner Peffer. (Information from the Port Royal (PA) 200th Anniversary website)

Jessie E McClure Peffer formerly of Mechanicsburg, was 87 when shed died on Monday, April 19, 1999, in ManorCare, Carlisle.
Born in Turbett Township, Juniata County, on February 19, 1912, daughter of George O and Emma J Groninger McClure, and widow of Lee V Peffer, she was a retired beautician.
Survivors at her death were sons Ronald L, Paul M, and Jeffrey R, sister Esther M Cocklin, and 8 grandchildren.
A son Warren Peffer preceded her in death.
Services in Cocklin Funeral Home with burial in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
