Johnny G. Appleby, age 69, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Clinton. He was born November 4, 1942 in Clinton to John William and Elizabetha (Hunter) Appleby. He was married to Linda Appleby for 43 years. He was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ, a United States Army veteran, and a retired truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Appleby; son: Johnny L. (Ella) Appleby; daughter: Debbra Appleby; 3 grandchildren: Mackenzie, Nicholas, and Samuel; sister: Cindy Downey; 8 brothers: Jimmie Appleby, Bob (Marie) Appleby, Junior (Joy Dean) Appleby, Jerry Appleby, Roger Hunter, Steve Appleby, Doug Appleby, and Tommy Appleby and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Richard Hunter.

A Memorial Service will be 10:00am, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Clinton Church of Christ.

Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton.
