Jerry Lee "Pete" Appleby died peacefully in Saint Andrews Nursing Home on July 23, 2016 in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 70. Jerry was born on November 8, 1945 in Clinton, Arkansas to Willie and Annie Appleby.

He spent the next seventy years being the best son, brother, dad and papal he could be. Pete loved spending time with his family and friends. He had several hobbies he enjoyed like fishing, hunting and traveling. He was a simple man that was loved and respected by everyone that knew him.

Jerry is survived by his son, Larry Appleby of Conway, AR; his granddaughter, Cornelia Polk (Aaron) and great grandson, Braxton Polk of Morrilton, AR; six brothers, Jim Appleby (Helen) of Formosa, AR, Bob Appleby (Marie) of Birdtown, AR, Junior Appleby (Joy Dean) of Lincoln, AR, Steven Appleby (Shea),Doug Appleby, and Tom Appleby; one sister, Cindy Dowdy.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, John William "Willie" and Anna Elizabetha "Annie" Appleby; a brother, Johnny Grayson Appleby all of Clinton, AR.

A memorial service scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on August 6, 2016 at the Clinton Church of Christ in Clinton, AR. with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jerry's life.
