Edward "Hap" Haley, Jr., 56, a self-employed roofing and siding contractor, died April 9, 1977, in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Lafayette, he was a life resident of the area and he resided with Mrs. Fay Killion and her family at 1418 Salem St.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Edward Haley of Lafayette; a daughter, Lillie Lee (Mrs. Phillip) Bosse of Lafayette; a sister, Betty (Mrs. Wilbur) Hippensteel of Winamac; and two brothers, Earl C. Haley of Shelbyville, and Roger F. Haley of Lafayette. Service Feb. 12 at Hippensteel Chapel, Pastor H.C. Stolldorf officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
