A son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bonnel, Henry E. Bonnel was born in Nortonville, Kansas February 16, 1882.
He was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Bagby of Skidmore, Mo. Sept. 2, 1906. Three children was born to this union: a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Voelker, Cummings; two sons, Ralph Bonnel, of Crawford, Ind. and LeRoy Bonnel of Atchison, who with the wife survive.
Mr. and Mrs. Bonnel have made their home in Effingham since retiring from their farm a few years ago.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church. Burial in the Effingham cemetery.
