There is some question of the exact date of birth for Isaac.
Isaac's date of birth, 15 January 1783,is calculated by the age listed on his grave marker: Aged 89 years, 1 month, & 1 day.
In a Lee Co., IA history bio on Eli Seeley, information given on Martha Beeler Seeley's parents lists Isaac's age at death as "89 years, 2 months, 6 days".
Since Martha is one of the older children and could most likely have known the date of her father's birth more accurately. I have chosen to use her statement of his age at death to calculate his date of birth for this memorial.

In July 2016 DNA testing was used to determine the parents of Isaac Beeler to be John Valentine Beeler and Mary Turney.
