William Wesley Johnson, 75 year old retired carpenter of Rt 8, died at Cumberland Medical Center Wednesday, March 25. He was a native of White county, moving here 34 years ago at the beginning of Cumberland Homesteads.
Funeral services were held Friday at Bilbrey's with Rev Wesley Holden officiating; burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mr Johnson leaves his wife, Effie Hale Johnson; 2 daughters, Mrs Dorothy Pelfrey and Mrs Reba Parham; a son, W T; 2 brothers, John of Rt 8 and Frank of Sparta; a sister, Mrs R A McCormick, Sparta.
