Mariam was the wife of Louis Prehn, then Walter Behling, the mother of Mirilon Prehn, daughter of Christopher and Lora Genevieve (nee Ware) Germanson. She was the sister of Almeda J. (Roy Willis) Goddard of Ohio, Mary Elizabeth (Verne Fay) Slover of Wisconsin, Lora (Frank Wolff) Rueping of New Jersey, Ethel Mae (Frank Richard ) Jenkins of Beaver, Pennsylvania and Rhea Walker (Harrison Fred) Paschen of Washington state and Neil Walker. Rest in Peace. Lasly she was the granddaughter of Christopher and Mary (nee Marit Pedersdatter) Germanson of Port Washington, Wisconsin.

She was born February 17, 1900 in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Christopher and Lora Ware (Ballard) Germanson.
Miriam was employed as office manager at C.F. Warning Co. for 30 years. She was a long time member of First Church of Christ Scientist and belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving is her daughter, Mirilou (Charles) Warning of Lynnwood, Washington. Preceding her in death were her husband, Walter J. Behling, a niece, Doris Nankervis and six sisters.
Private services were held through the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
