Rhea Walker Germanson Paschen was born in Athens, Alabama, the second of two children of Lora (Ware) and James Bert Walker. Her father died when she was very small and her mother remarried Christopher Germanson and moved to Wisconsin. There she met and married Harrison Paschen in 1907. After they'd had one child, the couple moved west around 1910 where two more children were born. They then moved to the small town of White Bluffs, WA. Rhea died in an auto accident after they had taken their oldest daughter to college and were returning home. She was buried in White Bluffs, WA but the cemetery was moved to Prosser, WA when the government took over Hanford and White Bluffs during WWII for the atom bomb project.
