Sammy Longino passed away peacefully Saturday August 4th at the age of 92. Sammy was surrounded Saturday by her loving family. Sammy was born Sammy Worley on May 31, 1920 in St. Augustine, Florida. She graduated from Converse College. After World War II Sammy married W. Bruce Longino, a Navy pilot [Bruce died December 23rd 1993]. Sammy lived all over this wonderful country including Hawaii with her husband Bruce and children. Their first child JoAnn [now JoAnn Evans] was born in St. Augustine, Florida. Their second child Bruce was born in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Their third child Nancy [now Nancy Rosales] was born in Brunswick, Georgia. Sammy had lived in the Atlanta area for the last 40 years of her life and was a constant joy to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving Sammy are her 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
