Eva Mae Norris, 97, of Skellytown, TX, was welcomed into God's loving arms on August 5,2012, in Denver City, TX.

Mrs. Norris was born on June 11, 1915, in Waynoka, OK. She married the love of her life, Melvin 'Red' Norris, on October 12, 1930. They were married 74 years. She owned and operated the E & M drug store in Skellytown. A longtime resident of Skellytown, she was famous for her stunning quilts, homemade pies and generous heart. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, her
husband, and a son.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Janie of Tucson AZ, daughters Col. Helen May Norris USAF NC, ret. of Bushland, Alice Fay Dickens and husband Jackie of Hobbs, NM, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great¬grandchild.
