BORGER - Cleo Mizar, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002.
Praise celebration will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Terry, pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in Llano Mausoleum in Amarillo with the Rev. Ricky Griffin, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Mizer was an auto mechanics instructor for Borger ISD and Frank Phillips College for 18 years. He was an independent owner/operator of Mizar's Garage for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two sons, Larry Mizar of Borger and Dr. Paul Mizar of Plano; a daughter, Terrie Simpson of San Antonio; two sisters, Eva Norris of Skellytown and Mildred Martin of Gravette, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church, 200 N. McGee St., Borger, TX 79007; or Grace Fellowship Church, P.O. Box 248, Borger, TX 79007.
