Graveside services will be held Saturday in the IOOF cemetery after the arrival of the 2:25 train from Havre for Fritz A. Garrard, 60, husband of the late Vera Sweetland Garrard of Helena, who died Thursday in the Deaconess hospital in Havre after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held in Havre today.
Surviving are a son, Leland of Witchita, Kansas, and a daughter Dorothy, who since her mother's death has made her home with her aunt, Mrs. Robert E. Miller of Livingston. Other survivors are Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Sweetland of Helena, parents of Mrs. Garrard, and Mrs. I.W. Hartzog of Helena, sisters-in-law.
Mr. Garrard was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge in Gildford."
