OBITUARY - Eli B. Wissinger - Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, c 3/3/1954

WISSINGER, Eli B., 88 of Conemaugh R. D. 1, died at 4:30 a.m. March 2, 1954 at
home. Born in Johnstown May 4, 1865, a son of John and Sophie (MACKALL)
WISSINGER. Preceded in death by wife, the former Mary HUNT, who died Aug 14,
1948; also a son, Paul , and daughter, Ruth. Survived by these children: Ralph,
Alliance, Ohio; Bess and Leona, both at home; Irvin, Wesley Chapel; Clarence,
Crescent City, Calif.; Russell, Falls Church, Va.; Edith, wife of William
LESLIE, Drexil Hill; Lucy, wife of Frank ADKINSON, Geistown; five grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren; also a brother, Walter E., Geistown, Deacon of
Vinco Brethren Church. Friends received after 7 p.m. Tuesday at H. M. Picking
Sons Mortuary, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Earl M.
Riddle. Interment, Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
