Jackie Morgan, age 80 died Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Lewisville, Texas. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 8 , 2012, at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Virgil Farr officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Jackie was born on April 15, 1932 to the late Jack and Veda (Aytes) Stennett in Round Timbers, Texas. She and Billy Wayne "Bill" Morgan were married on August 26, 1950 in Olney, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2010. Jackie was a 1950 graduate of Olney High School. She was a member of the Garden Ridge Church of Christ of Lewisville. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers: Art and James Stennett; two grandsons: Billy Jack Rogers in 1995 and Kevin Wayne Rogers in 1972.
Survivors include son, Jerry Wayne Morgan and wife Leslie of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Freida Mae Morgan Bosau and husband Ron of Lewisville, Texas; brother, Buddy Stennett and wife Vanice of Olney, Texas; two sisters: Naomi Elliott and husband Leon of Paris, Texas, and Gwen Crosthwait of Olney, Texas; also a grandson, Thomas Wayne Rogers of Lewisville, Texas.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
