Earl Briley,73, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 1995 at Gainesville Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 19,1921, in Mer Rouge, La., to John W. and Minnie Huges Briley. On Sept. 1, 1946 he married Pauline Roberts in Gainesville. He worked as a truck driver in the oil field, hauling pipe before his retirement. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of Southside Baptist church.
Survivors inclued his wife, Pauline Briley of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ken Farris of Fort Worth; 2 grandchildren Scott and Chris Farris of Fort Worth; brother Huey M Briley of Orange Grove, Fla.; and sisters, Lucy Wilkes of Start, La., and Eula Mae Holder of Monroe, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters
