Percy J. Baker died early Wednesday at his home in Huron at the age of 70.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Riverview United Methodist Church with the Rev. Earl Stucke officiating. Burial will be at Ree Heights.
Percy J. Baker was born July 16, 1903, at Edgerton, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker. As a boy he lived in Iowa, at Wolsey and Ree Heights. He married Viola Johnson, Nov. 18, 1924, at Miller, and they resided in Ree Heights until 1935 when they moved to Minnesota. He lived in Warren, Minn., 18 years prior to his retirement from the telephone company in 1967 when he moved to Huron. He was a member of Riverview United Methodist church.
Survivors include his widow, Viola; one sister, Mrs. Fred Anderson, Wolsey; and one brother, Earl, Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one brother and one sister.
