Nancy Lynn Arnesen White 1946 ~ 2005 Nancy Lynn Arnesen White, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, was welcomed home to her Heavenly Father and into the loving arms of her daddy on December 9, 2005 due to complications from multiple health issues. Born July 2, 1946 to Margaret Oates and Leon R. Arnesen in Salt Lake City, Utah where she grew up happy and carefree. She met her "best friend and love of her life," Robert H. White in 1964 and they were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on January 27, 1967. The love of Nancy and Robert has been an example to many and an inspiration to their children. Nancy was gifted with a generous and giving spirit, always putting the needs of her husband, children, grandchildren and friends ahead of her own. Nancy had a profound love of the gospel and accepted many church callings especially loving the callings that involved music or choir. She loved to sing and play the piano and shared her love for music with all of us. Nancy loved her pets and loved caring for them, she had many over the years, but her favorite was her "first baby Sugar Plum." Nancy was a dedicated and proud fan of the Utah Jazz and rarely missed a game. Nancy worked for the State of Utah in the Driver's License Division where she had many close friends and was loved by all. Nancy was preceded in death by her father Leon R. Arnesen, sister Shirley Arnesen and her 'adopted' daughter Angelica. Survived by her husband of 37 years Robert H. White, her mother Margaret Arnesen, sister Kathy and brother Brian. Also five children, Kenn (Maria), Wendy (Garrick), Brent, Nichole and Phillip as well as six grandchildren; Ian, Sage, Jeffrey, Hannah, Talon and Malcolm.
