Memorial services for Douglas E. Key, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lou Balenton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Morton, officiating.
His body was donated to Texas Tech Health Science Center for medical research.
Mr. Key died Monday, March 10, 2003, at his residence.

He was born March 23, 1945, in Plainview. He was a purchasing agent for Excel Beef, Emco Corp., and Hamby Co. He provided church services at Morton Manor Nursing Home for 17 years and was active in various other church activities. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
On Sept. 1, 1966 Married Maxine McPherson

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Angela Asebedo of Highland Village and Tammy Rexrode of The Colony; a son, Douglas Key Jr., of Watsonville, Calif.; three brothers, Carl Key of Oklahoma City, Okla., Donnie Key of Lake Worth and William H. Key of Kansas; three sisters, Naomi Davis of Plainview, Bernice Wingo and Wilma Stewart, both of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
