Naomi Ruth Davis, 76 of Plainview, passed away on May 16, 2017.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Naomi was born January 1, 1941 in Corpus Christi to William and Della (Belyeu) Key. She married the love of her life, George L. Davis in August 1955. Theirs was a love story that spanned 64 years until his passing on November 29, 2016. Together they had two children, Terry and Gail.

Naomi always felt blessed that she could be a homemaker who cared for her husband and children. She always spoke of her husband with such love and affection. She was happiest when she was cooking for and taking care of her family. Naomi absolutely loved babies and babysat as often as she could. By far, her favorite pastime was roughing it in the mountains of Colorado. She was an excellent fisherman. Her family remembers camping without electricity because that is how she preferred it. For Naomi, this was the perfect getaway.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved George; three brothers, Carl Key, W.H. Key and Douglas Key and three sisters, Josie Branscum, Bernice Wingo and Wilma Stewart.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Gail Bundick and husband Mike of Eunice, NM; her son, Terry Davis of Lubbock; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and one brother, Donnie Key of Ft. Worth.
