Margaret L. Buckley, age 85, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Saturday, December 7, 2002 at the Good Samaritan Care Center after an extended illness.
Margaret was born July 15, 1917 in Garfield Township of Montgomery County, Iowa the daughter of Herman and Anna (Fredrickson) Abraham.
She graduated from the Red Oak High School in 1934 and was later united in marriage to Theodore "Ted" Buckley on May 23, 1936 in Red Oak, Iowa.
They lived in Chicago for a short time before moving back to Red Oak.
Ted preceded Margaret in death on June 20, 1989.
Margaret worked for Dr. Fred Hansen as his receptionist and also for the Bakery at Hunts Super Value Store.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: husband: Ted Buckley; and an infant son: Harold.
Survivors include her daughter: Karen Bridges and her husband Roger of Fremont, Ohio; son: Ronald Buckley of Atlantic, Iowa; 6 grandchildren: Donna Hardee and her husband Mike of Conway, South Carolina; Patrick Bridges and his wife Barbara of Arlington Heights, Illinois; Sherry Jones and her husband Steve of Conway, South Carolina; Kristin Mast and her husband Jeff of Loveland, Colorado; Jennifer Johnson and her husband Mark of Woodbridge, Virginia; and Angela Melissa Lopez and her husband Julio of Orlando, Florida; 15 great grandchildren; brother: Herman "Abe" Abraham and his wife Marjorie of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
