This community was saddened last Saturday when it was learned that Mrs. Will Jarman had passed away at the Bigsby hospital in Kirksville, where she had been a patient for the past eight weeks.
Mrs. Jarman had lived her entire life in this community and had many friends and relatives who mourn her passing. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the Christian church with Rev. Ingold in charge assisted by Rev. R. M. Hutchison. Besides her husband she leaves 4 children: Mrs. Esther Thompson of Manitowoc, Wis., Claud of Quincy, III., Harry of Longview. Ill., Miss Ruth at home and 2 grandchildren Roy Lee Jarman of Quincy, Ill., and Jane Jarman of Quincy, Ill. Mrs. Thompson went to Kirksville with her mother and remained at her bedside during her illness, the others being there as often as possible. Dr. Thompson of Manitowoc arrived here Sunday morning to attend the funeral. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
