This is obviously NOT the Andrew Smith who served as a private with the 208th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company B (Civil War), and also served as a private with the 22nd Pennsylvania Cavalry, Company D. This man died in 1847.

Two locations for the burial of Andrew Smith of the 208th Regiment PVI are listed in the Pennsylvania Veterans' Burial Record: Smith's in Williamsburg, and Smith's in Martinsburg. My understanding is that one of these cemeteries is in very poor shape and the other no longer exits. I would appreciate more information about the actual burial site of Andrew Smith.Son of John and Susan Smith; aged 18 yrs, 9 mos, 9 days.
