On 2 May 1890 in Kahai Kadosh Beth Elohim Synagogue, he married (1) Hannah D. Moses, daughter of J.L. Moses. They had one daughter, Aumea. They apparently divorced.
Then on 17 Sep 1893 at Newark, NJ, at age 38, he married (2) Gertrude Agnes Dahl, age 21, who was born in Germany. Her parents were August Frederick and Johanna Dahl, both born in Germany. Thomas Moultrie and Gertrude Agnes had two daughters, Gertrude "Trudie" and Cornelia.
Thomas Moultrie was a lawyer. He died in Portland, OR at age 71.
