A Baptist by Faith. Believed to be buried in an unmarked grave at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery (Not Confirmed). Remarried after the death of Martin Miller in 1828, to Zechariah Bailey Jr. of Laurens County. Her obituary was given in the Oct. 25 1850 edition of the Laurensville Weekly Herald as follows:
"Died at the residence of Mr. Jesse Teague in Laurens District, on Tuesday, the 1st inst. Mrs. Martha Bailey, Consort of Zachariah Bailey, decd., aged 66 years. A native of North Carolina, removed to Laurens District in 1805. Shortly after her removal here, she married Martin Miller. She raised 12 children, ten of whom are sons. She was a member of the Baptist Church."
[Note: Zilla B. Miller Todd and Sarah B. Miller Roberts do not belong to this Family. The obituary above states that she raised ten sons and two daughters. The two daughters are accounted for in Celia Miller Teague and Louisa Miller Quattlebaum.]
