Myrton "Sonny" Hollis, 70, died April 19, 2008 in Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He was born in Bar Harbor, ME, and moved to Vero Beach in 1974, coming from Mount Vernon, ME.
He had been a professional tractor-trailer driver.
He served in the Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mildred Hollis of Vero Beach; sons, Wesley Liscomb of Williamton, KY, Neil Hollis of Lincoln, NE and Randy Liscomb of Vero Beach; daughters, Jill Jaynes of Vero Beach and Jeannette Smet of Okeechobee; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be at a later date.
