HARDESTY - Marlin HALE, 86, of Hardesty, Oklahoma, died January 4, 1995 in Perryton.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 6, at Apostolic Faith Church in Hardesty, with Rev. Ron Brening, pastor, and Rev. Jim Fox officiating. Burial followed in Range Cemetery under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.

A Hardesty pioneer, he was born August 22, 1908 in the Range community southeast of Hardesty. He married Molsie Cleo BURTON on August 15, 1930 in Range. She died in 1988.

He spent his life in the Hardesty area, where he was a farmer for many years, worked as Hardesty school custodian and worked by the Texas County road maintenance crew. He attended Apostolic Faith Church in Hardesty.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Gloria Joy HALE, five sisters and six brothers.

He is survived by three daughters, Joanna BOWLES of Perryton, Georgie LARISON of Oskaloosa, Kansas, and Marlene IRDER of Westminster; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Marlin Hale Memorial has been established for Hardesty School. Memorials will be accepted at the school office, or at Henson-Novak Funeral Home, Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
