2 KILLED, 2HURT IN AUTO-TRUCK CRASH NEAR CITY
Arn M. Foskey and Nephew, Kittrell Foskey, The Two Dead

Arn M. Foskey, of East Dublin, and a nephew, Kittrell Foskey, were killed and two others critically injured in a collision between a trailer to a log truck on which they were riding and an automobile at Turkey Creek south of here this morning.
The injured are M. A. Foskey, son of Arn Foskey, and Delma Foskey, another nephew. They are in the Claxton Hospital.
M. A. Foskey received head, neck, and chest injuries and Delma Foskey, hip and internal injuries.
Among those riding in the automobile were Rev. C. M. Ledbetter, Methodist pastor at Glenwood, who with two other Glenwood men were enroute to the state Democratic convention in Macon. They were Jack Towns and Charles Ennis. None of the three were hurt.
Deputy Sheriff E. E. Clark, who investigated, said the accident occurred on a curved road near the Turkey Creek bridge.
Deputy Clark said the truck appeared to have been on its side of the road and that the car had skidded for some distance. The men on the truck were thrown from the open cab on which they were riding. Both the trailer and the automobile were badly damaged. The truck and trailer are owned by E. B. Mackey, Dublin lumber man.
The truck was driven by Tillman Hester, who was uninjured, and the automobile by Mr. Ennis, it was reported.
Another man, Freeman Foskey, brother of Arn Foskey, was also in the truck, but was likewise unhurt.
Two ambulances from the Holland Funeral Home were rushed to the scene, and brought the dead and the injured to the city. The accident occured about 8 o'clock.

Services for Arn Foskey, 62, will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at Carter's Chapel, with the Rev. Raleigh Johnson od Scott officiating.
Surviving him are his wife, two sons, M. A. Foskey, who was one of the injured, and Sessom Foskey; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Horton of Dublin.
Holland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for both funerals.
