She was the daughter of Arnold M. Foskey and Mary Nobles Foskey. She was a member of East Dublin Baptist Church and was a member of the Marie Baptist Church Seniors Group. Mrs. Horton was retired from Carl Vinson VA Medical Center and was a homemaker. Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie C. Horton a son, Allen Horton, granddaughter, Linda Hester, grandson Robert Horton.

Survivors included her daughter, Louise H. Hester of Dublin; son Delma Horton of Dublin; grandchildren Melvin and Gail Hester, Dan and Lori Hester, John and Linda Hester, Wanda and Doug Metts, Donna and Jim Hutcheson, Arnold and Teresa Horton, Angie and Harry Graham and a large number of great and great great grandchildren.
