Col. Charles F. Jackson died at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Soldiers and Sailors home in Milford. He was 64 years old and had been commander of the home since 1930.

Besides his wife, Ella, he is survived by three sons; Ed and Jay of Lincoln; and Charles, jr. of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Orcutt of Lincoln and Mrs. Chauncey Krotter,Palisade; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Martin of Sheridan, Wyo., and Dr. Edna Carver of Steamboat Springs, Nev.

Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Hodgman's, Rev. W. A. Fowler officiating. Burial in Lincoln Memorial Park in charge of William Lewis camp No. 2, U.S.W.V.
