My mom found an insurance policy for "Maggie Alice Hector" placed a couple of months after her husband, Jett, died in 1958. The policy was signed in Smithville, Bastrop, Texas. I'm not sure they were ever officially married, but by Texas common law, it would have been legal...
If the girl in the picture is your Great Aunt Alice, then she is my Great Aunt "Nanny"! I last saw her around 1958 in Austin, TX when I was 10. There were many visits either to her place in Smithville, Texas (where she lived with but was possibly not married to a Jett Hector) or from her to where we lived in Austin. Jett died in 1958 and that may have resulted in her move to Idaho to be with her older sister. The boy in the picture must be my grandfather, Dennis Pierce "Pete" Bailey, who was the youngest and died in 1937. This picture means a lot to me, I will be sharing it with my mom, Mary Grace and her sister, Hazel Irene, both sisters of the Viola ("Vicki")you have in your tree.
